RANKINE 2020 CONFERENCE – ADVANCES IN COOLING, HEATING AND POWER GENERATION

KCORC is proud to be a partner in the organization of the "Rankine 2020 Conference". 

The conference is timed to coincide with the bi-centenary of the birth of William Rankine. It will mark the legacy of WJM Rankine whose name is now synonymous with power generation cycles.

The first international conference bringing together the disciplines of Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) and Refrigeration Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps (RACHP) to encourage the flow of ideas between the two fields. It will provide a forum to discuss the shared environmental challenges being faced, the solutions being proposed and the difficulties in choosing the most efficient working fluids.

Over three days, delegates will explore research and developments in the closely related fields of power cycles, working fluids and RACHP applications. They will take away insights into new opportunities to deliver efficient, sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions.  The conference will look to the future and offer a forum where the different disciplines of power generation, refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps can come together to discuss their common challenges and learn from each other about the different solutions that are being developed to tackled them.
